The Spanish band Jacare Jack have been around for awhile. Their origins go back to approx 2003 but 2020’s ‘Revolution’ is their first proper recording.

Background
The Spanish band Jacare Jack (jacare means alligator in portugese) have been around for awhile. Their origins go back to approx 2003 but 2020’s ‘Revolution’ is their first proper recording. From Zaragoza Spain, this band are all over the musical landscape. One moment it’s hard out rockers, the next it’s keyboard laced melodic rock. Licorice All sorts? I think so.
The Songs
Listening to this I was reminded of recent Italian band In-Side, but Jacare Jack are not up to the same class. I’ll admit the album gets better as we progress, but only just. The best song is ‘The Cornerstone’ but unfortunately the vocals from Tono Mendizabal makes for a hard listen all round.
In Summary
As a result, my intrigue and interest in Jacare Jack was very shortlived.
